About Looping

Looping (听力池) helps you truly master English listening. Import any audio, get sentence-by-sentence subtitles generated right on your device, listen to each sentence on repeat until it clicks (Focus), then drop the clips you've mastered into your Listening Pool to soak them in over time.

How It Works

• Import: On the Library tab, tap the + to import an mp3 / m4a from your phone.
• Subtitles: After import, sentence subtitles (with translations) are generated on your device — no internet upload.
• Focus (精听): Play a clip and loop it sentence by sentence until you can hear every word.
• Listening Pool (听力池): Graduate mastered clips into the Pool, then Soak (shuffle) to review them.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Is Looping free?
  Yes — completely free, with no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases.
• How are subtitles created?
  After you import audio, the app transcribes it and adds translations entirely on your device. The audio never leaves your phone.
• The subtitles aren't accurate — can I fix them?
  Yes. In the player, long-press a sentence and choose "Edit text" to correct the original or the translation.
• Does it work offline?
  Yes. Everything runs on-device. The only time an internet connection helps is the first time a translation language pack is downloaded from Apple.
• How do I change playback speed or looping?
  Open the player and use the controls there to adjust speed, loop mode, and the practice range.
• Where is my data stored?
  Only on your device. Looping has no account and no server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• I imported a clip but don't see it in the Pool.
  Imported clips live in the Library. To add one to the Pool, open it, practice in Focus, then graduate it into the Pool.
