Thanks for using CityRide. CityRide is a companion for indoor cycling — it rides you through 100 pixel-art world cities while you pedal on your stationary or spin bike. Check the FAQ below first; if the issue remains, contact us by email.

FAQ

Q: How do I use it?

A: Prop your phone in front of your indoor / spin bike, pick a city, and start a ride — enjoy the pixel scenery as you pedal. It's a scenery companion, not outdoor navigation.

Q: Why don't I see a live heart rate?

A: You need a paired Apple Watch with the companion watch app installed, and you must allow Health access on the watch the first time. Heart rate is streamed live from the watch to your phone.

Q: Does it track distance?

A: No. CityRide focuses on the indoor-ride visuals; it does not use GPS or record distance. Ride history keeps duration, average/peak heart rate, and the city.

Q: The sky/weather looks wrong?

A: A city's day/night and weather mood come from live weather fetched online (based on the city's coordinates, not your location). Without a connection, a default ambiance is used.

Q: Where is my data, and how do I delete it?

A: Ride records are stored only on your device. You can delete your ride history in the app; uninstalling the app also removes local data.
